ETOM Online Teacher Certification Course

ETOM now offers two levels of Online Teacher Certifcation: beginning and advanced. The six week Online Teaching Certification Course (beginning level) is designed to provide participants with the experience of being an online student while introducing them to the pedagogical and technical issues of online teaching. Successful participants will be able to set up the design for a general course framework, including an organizational scheme (using BlackBoard, Angel or Moodle CMS) and course management policies.

MCCVLC and ETOM Advanced Online Teacher Certification Course

The new Advanced Online Teacher Certification Modules are designed to provide the next level of online teaching certification and includes modules on Creating Multimedia Content, Incorporating Video and Audio, Integrating Social Applications, Live Tools, and Emerging Technologies.

Teaching Online: The 21st Century Classroom

Designed for professionals in education and corporate training, Teaching Online: The 21st Century Classroom explores the theory and pedagogy behind successful e‐learning and teaching, one of the fastest growing content delivery methods.

This is a professional development opportunity to apply the tools and technology available in the Blackboard online learning platform and facilitate dynamic discussion boards using case scenarios and hands‐on activities. Only two face‐to‐face or synchronous online sessions are required; the majority of the class is conducted online in the virtual classroom over a six‐week period.
